Every two weeks

Gin Church is taking short break for April and will be back in a new exciting format in May.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

What is Gin Church?

Gin Church is an opportunity to connect with other Christians and those curious about faith over your favourite drink (it doesn’t have to be Gin, you can even have a Cuppa). Its an opportunity for the community, for curiosity, and for exploring prayer and worship.

What will we do?

We will spend some time checking in with one another sharing the joys and some of the challenges of our past week. This is a moment to look at where God might have been in our experiences.

We will reflect on the bible and consider how this fits into our lives and how this works in our relationship with God. Sometimes we may have some music to reflect on, or poetry, and art.

We will pray with and for one another. And if prayer is new to you, we will explore ways of praying and being prayerful.

And we will build community with one another from the comfort of our homes, creating new friendships.

How involved do I need to be?

If you want to come but feel a bit unsure you can join us with your camera off and just begin to explore what church is quietly. Or If you want to get more involved, this too is for you. Come as you are, be how you are.

What is a church without borders?

Because we are meeting on zoom, it doesn’t matter where you are, you can join us. Perhaps you work away a lot but want to be part of a faith community, we can be that.

You might not live in the Margam Ministry Area you can absolutely join us, from wherever you are.

Maybe it is difficult for you to get out to church because of caring responsibilities or mobility, Gin Church is perfect for this.

It could be that coming to a physical church building feels a bit overwhelming, we can be that place for you to gently explore what church means.

Curious, or interested?

Come join us, we will meet fortnightly on Zoom, for an hour.

Let him hear you; he's listening.
